This was from my first trip to P Pass in about 2006. The wave in this photo is actually a pretty decent wave but it is mostly overlooked, because a couple of kilometres along the reef is PPass, which is in my opinion, one of the very best rights in the world. This wave, Main Pass would probably be crowded anywhere else but you will nearly always just go straight past this wave on the way to PPass. We hiked up a very steep mountain on the last day of our trip and were lucky to have one of the huge fishing boats heading out just as a nice set came through.
