This was shot from the hill at Kirra looking back toward Greenmount Hill and Snapper Rocks. Its a very popular vantage point and nearly every surf photographer who has visited the Gold Coast would have photos from up on this hill.<\/p>\n

What is unique about this photo is the number off waves. Usually, long period swells on the Gold Coast see maybe 3 or 4 wave sets. This swell though, was a large clean shorter period swell.
